Water is the element associated with winter according to Chinese teachings. The cold, dark days of winter give us a chance to reflect inwardly, rest, restore, and conserve energy. Like water, it’s a time for us to find the path of least resistance and practice fluid movement. It’s a great time to practice yoga, tai chi, dance, and qigong.
