Ajna, the sixth and third-eye chakra, is connected to our sense of intuition and imagination. The third-eye chakra is also associated with our vision and ability to see clearly. When in balance, we have clarity, both mentally and physically. When out of balance, we can experience fuzzy thoughts, confusion, double vision and blurriness.
To bring into balance, try a Pranayama breathing technique called Brahmari or bee breath. Bring both hands to your face. Place your middle fingers over your eyes. Allow the index fingers to rest on the brow lines and pinky fingers under your cheekbones. Close your ears with your thumbs. Take a deep inhalation and exhale the word AUM creating a buzzing sound. Do this for two minutes or more and visualize and indigo blue light coming from your third-eye and spreading throughout your whole body while you float on a deep blue sea, letting go of all your thoughts.
